Stagnant 0.0?

Every time I look into 0.0 news, I see people complaining about “stagnant 0.0”. Not that I really care much for colors or political maps (don’t care if Goons or Santa’s Granny own 0.0), but one needs to know where to search for new hunting grounds.

We ain't demanding... We'll shoot ya no matter the color

I have become a Curse resident 1 year ago (and still loving it), so my hunting radius is somewhat limited on the EVE Universe. I’ll set destinations at 30 jumps away from time to time, but I prefer to roll within 10 jumps on a daily basis if possible. Neverthless, no matter how far you go, you better have an idea of what you can find.

Still when everybody is complaining how stagant 0.0 is, and how CCP should do something about it, we been quite blessed on Curse with a constant flow of Alliances to keep us entertained. I would appreciate an even bigger flow around Curse, but I’d say it’s pretty OK for now.

"mi casa, su casa"... or something

Since the year is coming at an end, let’s make a very quick flashback.
1st, a quick look upon the people I consider Curse residents:
  • A4D still lives on K-QWHE;
  • POD made a staging on K-Q, before moving into G-0Q86 and join Darkside;
  • Tencus kept living on CL-85V;
  •  Art of War installed a permacamp on 8G;
  • Wraithguard moved into Hemin, shortly relocated to Utopia and then nearby G-0Q86;
  • Suicide Comando lived in Litom;
  • Some solo guys with 2 or 3 alts live in several of Curse systems for the most part;
  • Eye for an Eye still lives on D87E-A;
  • Darkside based on G-0Q86 from time to time, though they tend to move out a lot;
  • Eve Animal Control lived on Litom for some time;
  • Xenon Prime was hanging on S-E;
  • Gipsy Band also lived around H-ADOC area;
  • Gorgon Empire also lived on Curse, though not sure on this one...
Engagements with Curse residents tend to be quite nice, and small sized, but the problem of living on the same area is that, over time, we tend to “ignore” each other. We chat in local, share some intel, talk about pvp stories, etc. Unless we already have a gang up and one of those unfortunate souls jumps in a camp, we prolly don’t go much lenghs for a chase on another resident. We might even show up on each other door step for an engagement, but a quick chat on local will solve if the action is on or not!

What we really like are foreign fellas. Non-Curse residentes that like to think they found a new “home”, even if on a temporary basis. This is trully wonderful, because you sit on a system you know, and the rest of the world just spins and swirls around ya. You don’t need to move to get new hunting grounds. The herds come to you!

Here are some alliances that based on Curse (or nearby) and that provided good entertainment:
  • Bringers of Death based on YKE4-E;
  • Gentleman’s Agreement based on Hemin;
  • Jagged Alliance based on Hemin;
  • Suddenly Spaceships based on Utopia;
  • Born to Kill Based on Utopia;
  • Retirement Club based on G-0Q86 area and then Hemin;
  • NCdot based on HLW;
  • Flying Dangerously based on G-0Q86 area;
  • All Against Authorities based on Doril;
  • Red Alliance Based on Hemin;
  • Outbreak based on Utopia;
  • Easily Offended based on Litom.
As for the serroundings:
  • Imperial Legion based on 28Y- until they lost Sov;
  • Unthinkables based on Wicked Creek;
  • Darkspawn on Wicked Creek;
  •  Class Act Cartel on Scaling Pass;
  • State of the Union on Scalding Pass;
  • Double Tab, Predictables on Scalding Pass
  • Legion Arcanum on Catch, until they lost Sov;
  • En Garde on Catch until they lost Sov;
  • AAA on Catch until they lost sov;
  • Chribba on HED-GP and the SV5-8N -->36N-HZ pipe for great frig ganks and frig fights
  • CVA on Providence;
  • Red Alliance on Wicked Creek and Scalding Pass;
  • Why so Serious on Wicked Creek.
Immensea is still within our regular reach, but has been mostly empty for ages, and you can even go Etherium Reach if you want a longer roam.

Curse and the nearby Regions are a great place to hunt, but are also unforgiving. Quite often you get to loose more than a couple ships per day (not funny…) to every kind of trick on the book, but then again, it means you pretty much have daily warfare going on!

Stagnant 0.0 Is NOT Stangnant Curse!
